The Air Jordan 1 Low “University Blue/Black” is a collegiate inspired look for the low-top version of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. The “University Blue/Black” undoubtedly references the UNC Tar Heels by employing the school’s shade of light blue in its design. The Carolina Blue hue appears on the leather overlays on the forefoot, eyelets, mid-panel, and heel. Black leather can be found on the toe, collar, and Swoosh branding on either side of the shoe. Elsewhere, a black embroidered “Wings” emblem is stitched onto the heel and a University Blue Jumpman appears on the black nylon tongue. Jordan Brand finishes off the look with a white midsole and contrasting black outsole.
